MY STORY

About 4 years ago I got made redundant from a very well paid sales job. At the time my kids were only 14 and 8 and I found it very difficult to buy the things that they wanted. Don’t get me wrong we weren’t broke because I had saved a bit of money but I knew I couldn’t waste it on stuff that the kids wanted rather than the stuff they needed. Luckily they were old enough to understand, and this was the 2nd time in 10 years I had been made redundant so I knew that the road ahead was going to be tough for a while. Over the next couple of months I looked around for other sales jobs but my heart wasn’t in it, I wanted to try something different.

I barely knew how to switch a computer on let alone know how to advertise my website. Well actually I barely knew what a website was and I certainly didn’t know that I didn’t have to build a website myself. I remember doing alot of ebook reading and alot of spending on my credit card but if I’m honest with you I didn’t understand any of it. Fast forward another 2 years, I hadn’t earned anything and I was on the verge of giving up. After a few days of weighing up the pros and cons I decided to start all over again.
